Drivers are being warned of diversions in Birmingham city centre this weekend.
Paradise Circus Queensway is closed southbound from midnight on Friday until 5am on Monday.
Motorists will NOT be able to change lanes in Great Charles Street and must keep right for the Bullring, Mailbox and New Street via the A38 tunnel.
Drivers must keep left for Broad Street, Five Ways and the Jewellery Quarter only.
The same restrictions will also be in place for the weekends of January 20 and 21 and 27 and 28.
One of the two southbound lanes has been closed from Sandpits to Suffolk Street Queensway since last November to allow for demolition work as part of the £700 million Paradise development .
The weekend closure is due to what was described as “essential” work at the western edge of the scheme.
Labelled the most important city project outside of London, the massive project will create office, shopping, leisure and hotel areas.
But the project has been responsible for prolonged spells of roadworks for drivers since work began in January 2015.
