Emergency services raced to help a stricken cyclist following a collision near a mosque in Walsall .
The collision happened outside Masjid Abu Bakr, Wednesbury Road, shortly after noon today (January 12).
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 12.18pm following a collision between a cyclist and car outside a mosque on Wednesbury Road.
“The patient, a man in his 50s, suffered cuts to his head and neck and back pain. He was taken straight to Walsall Manor Hospital to be assessed.”
